The Grass on the Other Side…

by Ashish

Of course, once the rains come, I won’t be able to stop complaining about how it is always raining, how the skies look gloomy, about mud on my shoes and about how humid the weather is.

And since I’m a thoroughly domesticated animal now, I’ll also complain about how it takes forever for the clothes to dry. And a million other such actually trifling things.

But that’s then.

Now, all I can think of is the cool breeze that wafts about with the promise of rain. The drop in temperature and the howl of the wind. The thunder in the far distance and the intermittent flash of lightning.

And finally the cool cold rain. Sheets and sheets of it.

Another month to go. At least.
